It could be inviting to devote your holiday in Dubai slumped on a sun lounger, but this junction of the world is crammed with adrenaline-rushing, high-octane endeavors. There are activities to be ventured outdoors, be it the sand, sea and snow, and all of these thrills are in close proximity of each other. Craving for speed? Sandboarding
Afar the city’s architectural hulks are immense desert dunes of diverse colors and contours. The stunt-riders gather at the Big Red, a zone full of sandy mounds, where you can enjoy watching pro 4x4 drivers, quadbikers and sandboarders launching themselves off ridges and peaks. Get hooked with an adventure company and give it a go for yourself.

Snowboarding and Skiing
In the heart of Dubai rests a gigantic refrigerator, enclosing one of the hugest man-made ski slopes on earth. Within Ski Dubai, you will discover 6000 tons of dusty fine snow and a slope 400-metre in length. The lowest temperatures will make you feel as if you are somewhere in wintry Europe rather than a scorching desert.

Aquaventure Waterpark
Bound down 1.6m of falls, hurl yourself through a shark tank at 60mph or position on a trapdoor that unbolts underneath your feet and flings you racing through a double looped flume – this is how a day is like at Atlantis, The Palm. Rides missile out from antique Middle Eastern motived buildings and the sights from the waterpark, above the Palm Jumeirah, tranquil turquoise sea and the city’s skyscrapers beyond, are zilch less than spectacular. Other activities there feature meeting sea lions, whirling with dolphins, and the longest zip-line.
